Tip for the Year
Value your relations with others. The Horse year is one for involvement and participation. Also, be receptive to new ideas and possibilities. An open-minded approach can help make this an interesting and personally rewarding year.
The Water Snake
This can be a varied and interesting year for the Water Snake, although to get the most from it he will need to be flexible in outlook. This is no time to ignore what is going on around him or fail to capitalize on opportunities, even if what is happening does not fit in with his plans or way of thinking.
At work many Water Snakes will be firmly established in a particular type of position and have extensive experience behind them. Although quite a few will be content to remain where they are, the Horse year is a time of change. Many workplaces will see new systems being introduced, duties altered and objectives set, and the Water Snake will need to remain alert and adapt as required. While he may have misgivings about some of what is taking place, amid the volatility opportunities can open up and he may be well placed to benefit. Many Water Snakes will be successful in moving their career forward over the year.
There will also be some who will be keen to change the nature of their work, perhaps looking for a position involving less commuting and/or with more convenient hours. These Water Snakes, as well as those looking for work, need to remain alert. Although opportunities may be limited, by considering what is available and adapting their skills accordingly, quite a few could take on a very different type of work. Horse years can proceed in curious ways and provided the Water Snake remains flexible and willing, he can often benefit. Late March to May, October and November could see potentially important developments.
A few Water Snakes may also take advantage of early retirement options. Here again the Horse year can be a time of change that leads to new and interesting opportunities.
The progress the Water Snake makes at work can often help financially, but while this will be welcome, he does need to watch his spending levels and, if applicable, reduce his borrowings. With good management he can improve his overall position as well as make some pleasing acquisitions. Where some home purchases are concerned, his eye for quality, style and practicality will serve him well.
Also, if possible, he should make provision for a holiday at some time during the year. With his busy lifestyle, a break can do him good.
He will also enjoy the chances he will have to use and extend his knowledge and skills. These may be related to his work or to other, sometimes diverse, areas. The Water Snake does possess an enquiring mind, and setting time aside to read, research and explore, or possibly enrolling on a course or study programme, can bring him a great deal of pleasure.
To be on good form, however, he should give some consideration to
